Problem Solving through Mediation and Parenting Coordination

Parenting Coordination

When you find yourself co-parenting and have difficulties making joint decisions about your children, a parenting coordinator may be necessary to help resolve the conflict without having to return to court.

The Parenting Coordinator (PC) helps parents learn more about their particular children's needs as they go through the many changes that divorce brings to their lives.

The PC's work with the co-parents helps address the daily issues that may need more immediate direction that an attorney or a court cannot or will not be able to address.

Court Ordered or Chosen by the Parties

Often a PC is Court Ordered due to the high conflict the co-parents are experiencing.  The Court will often order the PC in an effort to help reduce added conflict for the children caught in the middle.  However, parties can choose to use the services of a PC without a Court Order as well.

Free Consultation

If you believe that a PC may be able to help you and your co-parent reduce conflict and improve communication, please do not hesitate to contact the office to set up a free consultation.
